Full Description
In 2011 Wessex Archaeology conducted a geophysical survey of the Chilmington Green development area. At Chilmington Green, linear and curvilinear features were detected as geophysical anomalies. An annular anomaly may relate to a ring ditch, either a hut circle or a barrow ditch. (1)
In 2012 Archaeology South-East carried out an evaluation. Some of these features were investigated and found to correspond to ditches and gullies. None of these could be dated. (2)
