Full Description
In 2011 Wessex Archaeology conducted a geophysical survey of the Chilmington Green development area. At Stubb's Cross, west of Stubbcross Wood, rectilinear features were detected as geophysical anomalies. These appeared to overlie the Roman road and may relate to medieval field enclosures. (1)
