Full Description

In 2000 Archaeology South-East carried out a watching brief and excavated features found during this at Lydd 11, Lydd Quarry. 53 flints were found on the surface of a shingle ridge. There were seven beach pebble cores, a probably utilised flake and eight retouched pieces. They are all probably of Bronze Age date. (1)
