Full Description
In 2003 the Trust for Thanet Archaeology carried out an evaluation at King George's Field, Minster. A medieval ditch was found in Trench 5 of the evaluation, it and was steep sided and flat bottomed and probably a field boundary. This ditch contained pottery, oyster shell, charcoal and a fragment of spindle whorl or loomweight made of chalk. (1)
