Full Description

In 2009/10 Archaeology South-East carried out a programme of works on Kemsley Down and Kemsley Marsh. Seven small pits contained Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age material. The pottery was mostly post-Deverel Rimbury tradition. Other finds included flakes and two pyramidal loomweights. (1)
