Full Description
In 2004 Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation at the Weatherlees Wastewater Treatment works. Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age activity was found in two areas. The southern area contained two gullies, several pits, two possible midden deposits and two hoards of Late Bronze Age metalwork. Both hoards had been disturbed by ploughing. (1)
