Full Description
In 2012 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation immediately to the north of the villa site. Five ditches were found and broadly dated to the Roman period. They likely represent drainage ditches or parts of an enclosure system. Pottery found in some of the features dated to the late Roman period or possibly the early post-Roman period. (1)
