Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1)
The field containing the above feature has been surveyed and mapped from aerial photographs - HEA 3368_29750_006 29-JUN-2015- as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. This survey did not record any ring ditches within this field, but recent aerial photographs revealed one large sub-circular pit/ extractive pit and two smaller pits of uncertain date at or near this location.
