Full Description
Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1) RCHME AP shows sub-circular, macula cropmark, consisting of pit features, a possible barrow. Short, linear feature situated to the NW side. Located at TR 3485 6865. (2)
Cropmarks of a length of ditch of uncertain date aligned NE-SW with the start of a change of direction to the south at the SW end. This lies to the north of a large cropmark macula, probably the remians of a post medieval extractive pit. These features were seen on aerial photographs ; NMR 2602/0207 24-APR-1985 and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (3)
