Site identifed during the transcription of aerial photographs. (1)
Cropmarks of perpendicular ditches of an incomplete rectilinear enclosure, of uncertain date (possibly Roman or medieval in date) and large oval extractive pit which cuts into the eastern side of the enclosure ditches. These features have been identified from Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015 aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (2).
