Full Description

In 2005 Pre-Construct Archaeology carried out an evaluation. Ditches were found which probably relate to a prehistoric field system. Also found was a large ditch. (1)

Subsequent excavation found that the large ditch dated to the medieval period. It possibly was dug as part of an enclosure and was later reused as a hedgeline. (2)
