Monument record TQ 97 SE 83 - Medieval field system, Kingsborough Manor

Summary

A strip field system, likely to be of medieval date. Medieval features interpreted as boundary ditches. Recut Anglo-Saxon ditches and a large pit found during excavation in 2000. Ephemeral evidence of agriculatural use in the medieval period has been found across most of the site.
