Full Description
TR 363 644 18th - 19th century rubbish dumps. After mid to late C18th brickearth extraction in this area was backfilled by planned dumping of refuse during the C18th and early C19th phase of Ramsgate's development. A complex grid-like cropmark is now apparent. Remains of buildings have been found on the higher ground just W of the brickearth workings. (1)
