Full Description

In 2012 the Trust for Thanet Archaeology carried out an evaluation. Two ditches were located. The first ditch was arcing and may relate to a small circular enclosure. It was not thought to be a barrow ring ditch due to differences between its fills and those typically found in such features. A linear ditch was also located but could not be dated. An extended inhumation was found to the east. No dating evidence was found for the burial though it was only partially excavated. (1)
