Full Description

In 2007 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out a programme of works. Three small features were found with flints and pottery of the Late Bronze Age. A deposit that contained a very large quantity of burnt and struck flint may represent a working platform or perhaps a ground surface. A small ditch was also found. Much of the material recovered from the site of this date was probably in colluvial deposits and so may have been moved from nearby. (1-2)
