Full Description

In 2006 Archaeology South-East carried out an evaluation and an excavation. Three ditches crossing the site were dated to the Late Iron Age/early Roman period. The site was subsequently used for cremation burials. Four such burials were found in the south east corner of the site, three had accompanying vessels and one was a single urned cremation. (1)
