Full Description
In 2007/8 Archaeology South-East carried out an evaluation on the Thanet Supply Main pipeline route. A thick layer of alluvium sealed the archaeological horizon. A pit was found but was not able to be fully inspected due to the depth at which it was located. It was sub-circular in plan and had some indication of in-situ burning. (1)
