Full Description
In 2004 a scatter of Roman coins was identified on the site (see PAS records in the field). Subsequent resistivity surveys and test pits located remains of a hypocaust. Painted plaster was found within the demolition deposits. A ditch which cut through demolition layers within the room contained a coin dated to between AD 364 and 378. (1-2)
In 2013 Wessex Archaeology carried out a magnetometry survey of the site. A number of areas of high response were detected along with linear features to the north. (3)
