Full Description
In 2007 and 2008 the Kent Archaeological Field School carried out an excavation at the Blacklands Roman site. Features, including a 'surface' and a pit, dating to the Bronze Age were encountered. Pottery found included two sherds of Middle Bronze Age Deverel-Rimbury flint tempered ware, 26 sherds of Middle Bronze Age pottery and three conjoined sherds of fine ware. (1)
