Full Description

In 2008 Network Archaeology undertook a watching brief on the Groombridge to Langton Green water main route. Three pits and a stake hole were found, all with medieval pottery. The pottery variously dated from the 12th to the 14th century. A clipped silver long cross halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272) was also found. (1)
