Full Description
In 2009 Archaeology South-East carried out an evaluation. Two pits were found, one contained a residual Mesolithic bladelet fragment (TQ 97 SW 132) and both contained sherds of later prehistoric pottery, probably of Middle Iron Age or Late Iron Age date. Two possible ditches were also identified but were not recorded in the subsequent excavation. (1)
