Full Description

Between 2005 and 2007 Canterbury Archaeological trust carried out a watching brief. A series of 21 pits and post holes overlain by the earliest layers of probable medieval road were found. Little in the way of dating material was recovered but the features are likely to have dated between AD 1175 and 1400. (1)
