Summary
F14 dates from the First World War use of Fort Halstead as an ammunition store to serve London’s anti-invasion stop-line and was built as a laboratory in 1914, possibly for the inspection of ammunition. In 1922, when the site was privately sold, the new owner, a retired army officer by the name of Colonel F E Bradshaw, lived in this building.
