Full Description
In 2006 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation and watching brief. Two intercutting features were found, one of which was probably an early Roman ditch. This interpretation was based upon the orientation (closely parallel to the nearby proposed alignment of the Roman road) and the presence of residual prehistoric flints and pottery. (1)
