Full Description

In 2006 AOC Archaeology Group carried out an evaluation and watching brief. An Anglo-Saxon pit was found. It contained evidence of burning (though not in situ) in the form of charcoal and daub fragments. The pottery sherds came from an organic-tempered upright-rimmed jar. A post hole cut the feature but could not be dated. (1)
