Full Description
In 2006 AOC Archaeology Group carried out an evaluation and watching brief. Iron Age activity on the site was represented by a sequence of intercutting pits. Three post holes were cut into a step on the eastern side, suggesting some form of structure associated with the pit.
In the Roman period intercutting pits were dug along with a stake hole group. Fragments of ceramic building material were found, the pieces being from a hypocaust. (1)
