Full Description
An enclosure identified from an aerial photograph of 1989. Two trenches were dug across the enclosure ditch by the Dover Archaeological Group in 1990. The enclosure is probably at least 55m by 50m. A gap of 14m could indicate the position of an entrance. The ditch was between 3.2m and 4.3m wide and more than 2m deep. 13th century pottery was found within the ditch. Two small pits were found within the enclosure. (1)
