Full Description
In 2009/10 Archaeology South-East carried out a strip, map and sample excavation. The northeastern corner of an enclosure was found on the southern part of the site. A piece of imbrex was found in the western ditch whilst the eastern ditch contained the base of a 1st century Roman pottery vessel. A pit to the north of the enclosure contained early Roman pottery.
