Full Description

In 1998 Museum of London Archaeology carried out an excavation ahead of CTRL works. Ditches forming the northern and eastern side of a Roman enclosure were found. There was an entrance in the north-east of the enclosure but the rest extended beyond the limits of excavation to the west. Pottery from the ditches dated to the 2nd and 3rd century AD. A pit was found within the enclosure. (1-3)
