The former Northfleet tram depot which served the Gravesend and Northfleet Electric Tramways.

Description from record TQ 67 SW 1269:
Second World War public air raid shelter for 50 people, established around 1939/40 in the basement of the former tram depot, off Dover Road, Northfleet. Its design and arrangement are unknown but is likely to have involved stenghtening the basement by means of strutting. It is likely to have been decommissioned by around the Spring of 1945 and strutting removed by late 1945 or in 1946. Acess was not possible to establish further details. Premises on the site - which appear to be a later building -are currently used by an engineering company.
