Full Description
Pit or ditch terminus found in evaluation trench 4 at 479 Margate Road, Broadstairs. The feature continues into the unexcavated baulk on the north side of the trench, is steep sided with a concave base and runs north-south. Cut into natural geology and sealed by subsoil. The fill was a mid red brown fine silt that contained a single flint scraper of indeterminate prehistoric date. (1)
