Monument record TR 36 SW 342 - Horseshoe-shaped neolithic (probable) and early bronze age monument, Ebbsfleet

Summary

During the East Kent Access Route excavations (2010-2011) a horseshoe-shaped ditch was discovered c. 20m across with an internal bank and a north-west facing entrance. This was interpeted as probably of neolithic date by the excavators. Within the monument was a circular 8m diameter cicrular ditch containing early bronze age pottery.
