Full Description
During the East Kent Access Route excavations (2009-2011) two post-medieval chalk quarries, probably 19th century in date, were discovered in zone 17. (1-2)
A hollow way and a chalk pit of Post Medieval date were visible as sub surface deposits in NMR 26607/24 06-APR-2010. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (3)
