Monument record TR 15 NW 1742 - Prehistoric Pit (3-4 Marlowe Avenue)

Summary

In the spring and summer of 1950 several trenches were dug east of Slatters hotel building and also on the site of 3-4 Marlowe Avenue. The excavations were undertaken by the Canterbury Excavation Committee. The trenches were coded CXVI E II, CXVII E I, EIII-VII.
