Summary

2 undated features were found in Trenches 43 and 38 of an archaeological evaluation at Manston Green, Ramsgate by Archaeology South-East in advance of proposed development. A series of undated finds were also recovered from the site and are recorded here for ease of recording though not in association with the features or in the features' fills.

Full Description

An archaeological evaluation took place at Manston Green, Ramsgate by Archaeology South-East in advance of proposed development. (1)

2 undated features were found in Trenches 43 and 38 of the site. A pit in TR38 and a possible posthole in TR 43. Early Post-Medieval peg tiles and undated ironwork and animal bone was also found at the site. These finds are recorded here for ease of access/recording but were unassociated with the features. (1)

The report offers little interpretation as the majority of the site returned no significant archaeological remains. (1)
