Full Description
26 pottery sherds were uncovered in a trench during archaeolgogical evaluation trenching. The sherds weigh 337g and probably belong to a Middle Bronze Age urn, thick-walled and coarsely flint-tempered, with an applied horizontal cordon.
The exact context, and nature, of the prehistoric pottery sherds is unclear as the report only briefly mentions the sherds in a general summary of prehistoric pottery, and in appendix 3 (a summary of all finds by context). (1)
