Monument record TQ 75 NE 981 - Medieval Pit, Hart Street/Broadway
Summary
Medieval pit containing mid and late medieval pottery sherds uncovered during archaeological work at the site in 2014. The earliest sherd dates to c.1250-1400, with the majority of the sherds (8) dating to between c.1475 and c.1550. The upper fill also contained fagments of marine shell, animal bone, tile and charcoal.
