Findspot record TQ 83 SE 298 - Post-Medieval Pottery and Clay Tobacco Pipes, Smallhythe Road
Summary
There were 15 sherds of Post-Medieval pottery, largely consist of both glazed and unglazed redwares.
Between August and September 2015 an archaeological evaluation excavated a total of 17 trenches. Five of the trenches revealed 11diagnostic fragments of clay popes. These included 7 partial or complete bowls. Several trenches also revealed post-medieval pottery sherds (15 in total originating from 7 trenches).
