Findspot record TQ 76 NW 861 - Post-Medieval Pottery Sherds, Eastgate House

Summary

During an archaeological watching brief of the excavation of three geotechnical test pits in May-July 2012, Two post-medieval pottery sherds were recovered from Test pit 3. One is a crazed glaze base sherd from a bowl dated to 1770-1850. The other a sherd of black and white Roman style decaration estimated as early 19th Century.
