Monument record TR 36 NE 2410 - Undated Post Hole, Bradstow School, Broadstairs

Summary

Between 6th and 27th August 2015 a programme of archaeological monitoring was carried out during the excavation of a service trench for a new residential building to be constructed at Bradstow School. A single, well defined, shallow, straight edged, circular post hole was uncovered. The post hole was cut straight into the natural chalk geology and measured 0.25m in diameter and 0.13m deep. The post hole contained a single fill and no datable material.
