Monument record TQ 76 NW 865 - Masonry defence wall and internal bank

Summary

In 2008 evaluation trenches were carried out across the PB Site, Horsewash Lane, Rochester. In trenches 2/10, 3 and 5 remains of a possible Roman masonry city wall and a large masonry structure which has been interpreted as a bastion or possibly a gatehouse were uncovered.
