Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation was carried out at the PB site, Rochester. Ten trenches were excavated and the evidence suggests the survival of an archaeological sequence dating from Early Neolithic to the Post-Medieval period. The archaeological significance of the remains ranged from local to national with particular national significance being given to the Roman city wall and associated structure and bank.
