Monument record TQ 76 NW 887 - Saxo-Norman (10th and 11th century) features recorded in Trench 9, Horsewash Lane Site, Rochester.

Summary

In 2008 a series of evaluation trenches were excavated across the PB Site, Horsewash Lane, Rochester prior to development of the land. In trench 9 a series of 10th and 11th century features were recorded, comprising a pit containing Saxo-Norman Pottery, an undated metalled surface and beam slot.
