Monument record TQ 76 NW 888 - Possible medieval wall, Horsewash Lane, PB Site, Rochester
Summary
In 2008 evaluation trenches were established across the PB site prior to development. The corner of a potentially medieval building was recorded in trench 6. The wall was L-Shaped in form, constructed of chalk blocked and bonded in a yellow/orange sandy mortar, the surviving top course observed was form from irregular flint nodules.
