Monument record TR 34 SW 1390 - Post medieval demolition deposit, buildings and occupation deposits; Last Lane, Dover

Summary

An excavation undertaken by Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit in 1971, at the former site of Last Lane, Dover, revealed stratified deposits dating from between the Roman and post medieval periods. The post medieval levels included demolition deposits, floors, occupation deposits, a masonry building and a wattle and daub building. (Location accurate to the nearest 5m based on available information)
