Full Description

A large pit ([10]) found in Trench 6 and dated as Post-Medieval by fill containing 16th-17th century Kentish peg tile.

From the report: "ditch [10] measured 4.3m in width, with a depth of approximately 0.46m (Section 6). The single fill (09) comprised mid grey silty sand with frequent fragments of Kent Peg tile (16th-17th centuries)" (1).
