Monument record TR 34 SW 1532 - Roman Hill wash deposit off Queens Gardens, Dover

Summary

During an archaeological evaluation undertaken off Queens Gardens, Dover, 5 trenches were excavated, in trenches 4 and 5 deposits of mixed clay and soil overlay the natural. These soils represent hillwash and contained sherds of Roman pottery and domestic rubbish including tile fragments and animal bones. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
