Summary

Second World War reinforced concrete bunker - underground 'plotting room' of St Margaret's Bay Counter Bombardment Fire Command. There are three small rooms built of concrete, a plant room, and a large central plotting room. In a small coppice at South Foreland, between St. Margarets's at Cliffe and Dover.

Full Description

Bunker - underground 'plotting room' of St. Margaret's Bay Counter Bombardment Fire Command. There are three small rooms built of concrete, a plant room, and a large central plotting room.

The Fort Record Book of St. Margaret's Bay Counter Bombardment Fire Command cited includes a photograph of this structure under construction. In a small coppice at South Foreland, between St. Margarets's at Cliffe and Dover. (1-2)
