Monument record TR 34 SW 1794 - 18th and 19th century cellaring, 17 Biggin Street, Dover

Summary

During an archaeological evaluation undertaken at 17 Biggin Street, Dover an in-filled post medieval cellar was uncovered. This cellar appeared to have had two phases of construction, the later of these two phases, which was of a 19th century date was constructed of brick, while the earlier, which was possibly 18th century in date was constructed of chalk blocks. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
