Summary

During an archaeological evaluation at the Prince of Wales House, Princes Street, Dover, undertaken by Wessex Archaeology in 2008 ahead of the development of the site, fragmentary evidence of Saxon activity at the site was found in the form of a single sherd of Late Saxon pottery uncovered as a residual find from a Medieval ditch. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
